Phambili means forward / ahead / in front.
 
It can be used in a variety of related contexts. Literally in terms of position and space (phambili kwetafile = in front of the table) and also as a way of encouraging a sports team / athlete / someone with a challenge ahead, as in 'onward!' / 'ahead!'.
